Mission


The Pfahler Archive is dedicated to the research, promotion, dissemination, and facilitation of public access to the work and legacy of the influential German painter Georg Karl Pfahler. The Archive aims to encourage discussion and a deeper understanding of Pfahler, his contemporaries, and their historical moment among scholars and the general public.

The Archive is managed by the artists widow Hannah Pfahler, children Florian Pfahler and Caroline Neuendorf, and grandson Henri Neuendorf.
